With degrees from Queen’s, Columbia and Osgoode Hall Law School, Julia practised law with Torys LLP in Toronto and Hong Kong and built a legal recruitment business in Singapore before becoming a non-profit CEO with CivicAction, Futurpreneur Canada, the Canadian Children’s Literacy Foundation and Habitat for Humanity Canada, Chair of Ontario's Expert Roundtable on Immigration, and director of many non-profit and business organizations.
She’s been named one of WXN’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women, a YWCA Toronto Woman of Distinction and Woman of Influence’s Canadian Diversity Champion, and received the Pearson Centre for Progressive Policy Leadership Award, the Goodman School of Business Distinguished Leader Award and the Prix RelèveON Prix Hommage du Club canadien de Toronto.
Julia also serves on the boards of United for Literacy, Vancity Community Investment Bank, and InvestEco Capital, and as an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Martha Durdin

Recently retired President and CEO of the Canadian Credit Union Association, Martha Durdin is a seasoned executive, Corporate Director and Board Chair. Prior to her role at CCUA, she held various senior management roles, including Managing Principal at Navigator as well as an executive position at BMO Financial Group. Early in her career, Martha worked in the Prime Minister’s Office on Parliament Hill.
Over the past 20 years, Ms. Durdin has volunteered extensively and sat as a board member on several Crown agencies and for profit and NFP organizations. Among them, she is the immediate past Chair of the Royal Ontario Museum Board of Trustees, served three terms as the Chair of the Ontario Arts Council and chaired the Governance Committee of the Washington DC-based WOCCU. She is currently a Director of The Canada Post Foundation, 8-Twelve Financial Technologies Inc., Dane Creek Capital Corp. and Roots of Empathy.
Martha is bilingual; holds a BA (Hon) from Western University, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors. She is the recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Lieutenant Governor’s Distinguished Service Award.

As Chief Commercial Officer for Canada Post from 2016, until his appointment as CEO in 2019, Doug led growth strategies for Canada Post, oversaw all commercial functions, including Sales, Marketing, Retail, Digital, Business Development and Customer Service.
With its subsidiaries Purolator, SCI and Innovapost, Canada Post is a leader in providing innovative e-commerce, marketing and logistics solutions.
Doug is an accomplished senior executive with more than 30 years of broad experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.
Before joining Canada Post, he led established companies through complex business transformations. He was President and CEO of Scotsburn Dairy Group. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Ganong Bros. Limited and held executive roles with Parmalat, Nestlé and Coca-Cola.
Doug chairs the board of Innovapost and is a Director of the Purolator Board.
Doug earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master’s in Business Administration from Dalhousie University.
Vikram Khurana

Vikram (Vik) Khurana is a Canadian entrepreneur, experienced in business consulting & IT outsourcing. Previously, Vikram worked with TD Bank. Since then, he has founded many India-centric businesses such as Prudential Consulting Inc., a healthcare BPO Service Provider, Leading System Consultants, a company engaged in India related advisory services, amongst others. Vikram has been an advisor, board member, investor, and consultant to a number of multinational companies and organizations in the field of Information Technology, Business Process Outsourcing and Information Technology Enabled Services. Vikram has also invested in a variety of start-ups as an Angel investor.
Vikram is currently the Chair of Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) – a leading business incubator that has been locally, nationally and internationally recognized for its efforts in nurturing the growth of new and emerging businesses in the Greater Toronto Area. He also serves as a Board member of Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and Ontario Capital Growth Corporation (OCGC).
Vikram is an engineering graduate from India and also holds a Master’s in Business Administration, from St. Mary's University in Halifax. He is an active participant in a variety of fundraising activities for development-related causes such as schools for underprivileged children, and long-term aid initiatives for Haiti. In 2011, he co-chaired the first Diwali gala to raise funds for the Emergency Department at Toronto Western and Toronto General Hospital. Vikram has also received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of his achievements and work in the community.

Rob Lackie

Rob Lackie is Inuit and President and Founder of iTUK – Inuit of Toronto Urban Katimavvik. He is a Sixties Scoop survivor from Labrador. His mother is a residential school survivor.
Mr. Lackie has experience on several boards and committees such as the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto, the Aboriginal Sport and Wellness Council of Ontario and Na-Me-Res (Native Men’s Residence). His strategic ideas are broad-based and cut across political divides; his work with Aboriginal agencies in Toronto has provided positive change for the community.
Rob was the 2011 Recipient of the Aboriginal Affairs Award recognized for his dedication and work he has done in the City of Toronto.

In this role, Susan leads all aspects of Human Resources while advancing safety as the company’s top priority. She is also responsible for supporting collaborative efforts with all of our bargaining agents across the company.
In her previous role as Senior Vice-President, Corporate Affairs, Susan was responsible for Government and Community Affairs, Compliance and for leading the shift to integrating Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) principles into our corporate priorities.
Susan has served as a key advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, playing a critical role in setting the Corporation's strategic direction through development and approval of the five-year corporate plan, as well as successfully leading the company through several mandate reviews.
Susan joined Canada Post in 2005 from the federal government, where she worked in increasingly senior positions in several different departments, including the Department of Finance, Transport Canada, Industry Canada and Health Canada.
Throughout her career, Susan has established excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders, bringing together divergent interests on highly sensitive issues. She is known for her strong communication skills and ability to bring complex issues to ground.
Susan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation, a trustee of the Canada Post Community Foundation and a mentor in the Women’s Executive Network. She is fluently bilingual and holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics and an MBA from McGill University. She is married and is the mother of two.

An accomplished senior executive offering a track record of delivering results, Jeffrey has found success across industries in Canada and the United States. He possesses a rare blend of proven business acumen and global citizenship and leverages strategic, analytical, forward-thinking, creative, and problem-solving abilities to lead teams, to address complex business challenges, and manage transformations.
Currently CEO of TVO, Jeffrey has previously served as Commissioner of the Canadian Football League, Chair of Canadian eSports organization Tiidal Gaming Group, and in senior executive roles at Canadian Tire Corporation, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and global not-for-profit Right to Play. Jeffrey holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Amherst College. He and his wife Carly and their two sons live in North York.

The Foundation's Trust Deed stipulates no more than 8% of funds raised for the Foundation may be used to cover overhead costs, though typically less than 4% of funds raised are used by the Foundation to support its work.
